June 21st is national (or local) skateboarding day. The first year that I even know about it was our first year of marriage. We were living in SLC right below the hill that leads to the U. So, of course, since the U is so "liberal" with it's skateboarding rules, I sat out on our porch and watched dozens of skateboarders speed down the hill. Lots of honking cars. But it was amazing and made me wish I wasn't sure of my impending doom if I chose to learn. So I don't. But that doesn't  stop me from being Station's mascot at the skate park.
