We had a good Father's Day. My dad is pretty great. He is a great influence in my life. No doubt. {brother} spoke in church and it was great. Then we just ate the most delicious dinner ever. Thanks to mom and {sister}. We then watched Alice In Wonderland, which is great. The nine year old Alice has something freaky going on with her hair color. But that does seem Tim Burton- like. Then as we were getting ready to read some scriptures. I don't know about anyone else, but anytime we do this there is usually some sort of chaos. My dad's mad reading skills, {nephew}'s funny ways, {brother} stealing my phone and nearly texted others. whatever. we just can't seem to keep it together. I guess it could be worse.
Today is my brother's birthday. He is a lab tech at a plasma place. he is old now. poor soul. hope he enjoys it. nah. being old is pretty great. until you have a mid life crisis at 20. just saying. that is why i bought 4 norah jones cd's for my birthday. no big deal. i will never need another lonely sunrise.
I am going to be running a half marathon in july. I haven't mentioned this before because first of all i feel dumb. and second I didn't know if my body would break again. it probably still will. whatever.
I would add some pictures of what I have been up to....but I just don't have the time. Well I do. But I don't have the energy. I should. I slept in instead of going running. I will blame that on the rapist that was set free and lurking around my neighborhood. Well that is all.
