.: Happy New Year?!?!

Remember this night? yeah it was great. Well I looked online to see what day this year's Chinese New Year was because I am not in a Chinese class this semester because of my history class. and the creepy kid that wouldn't leave me alone. but whatever. so i look online and it said the 26th. I didn't even think twice. So I made myself a Facebook invite page way before the day. just in case. So the night before arrives and {sister}, {friend slash neighbor} and I are all talking about decoration. well {sister} and i are talking decor while {friend slash neighbor} is sitting there. he is a guy and therefore rolls his eyes whenever we talk girl talk. I had all these plans and BAM i get shoved into a closet with a thing called bad news. Turns out. {sister} had looked up the Chinese New Year the exact same time as me and she found the date for THIS YEAR. while i was looking at last year's date. what the flicket? she said that she didn't want to ruin my mood so she just kept quiet. WHHHHYYYYY? i was so humiliated. I really really thought about canceling the party until the actual date. Which by the way is Feb. 14. so really it wouldn't be the real day anyway but it is the idea that i for real was sure that I was going to have a new year along with my fellow Chinese friends. But i was told to just go with it. So i did. I set up the house to have a feel of chi. I even had chi music until {sister} turned it off. if you haven't notice she is a dream crusher. not really. but at the door people would be able to look through the list of Chinese names I had from my Chinese class and pick a first name and last name. Every girl's middle name was yi(ee) while every guys middle name was you(yo). Then we had table tennis and food. After we ate we all played signs and had to have something that incorporated something with China. Well not really, but we tried. Anyway it was fun and I had a great time even though Chinese New is not until Feb. Here are some pictures of the night.
