{at the mountains. her last time being a single lady}
Okay so I guess that I should talk about the day {bffe's fiance} proposed. It all started with one night when I was getting MAJOR hints from him and his mom while at his house with {bffe} and him. I texted him....naturally, and asked him if he was really planning on asking. He didn't reply. boys. So later that night we talked quietly in the safety from little ears and he told me that he was planning on asking her. I was floored....I really didn't know that they were that serious. I guess no matter what I would be in denial. But whatever. So he told me his plans and I was excited. He also told me that he didn't have the ring and that I can't tell {bffe}. riiiight. no really. i am horrible with secrets. straight up. ask me what I am giving anyone for christmas and I will just say it. I just love to tell people what they are getting because I get so excited. But this was a serious one so I kept quiet. i can do that you know!!! So we all went on with life and I was excited for her but didn't really know when he was asking her. then the morning of October 10th i get a call from him "hey cass i got the ring."
"OH! You did? is it so pretty? I am so excited."
"yeah but I dont think i can wait. I want to do it tonight."
"shoot. do it!"
and he did. We ran around getting things ready for the night to be perfect. I wont lie. he is usually a fast driver but that day i was afraid for my life and his very well being. He was a nervous wreck. ha. it was so funny. We had to change a few plans for the night because we couldn't find things but it was okay. For instance we were going to do some crafty thing with the photos of their first date but he wasn't able to find the necessary things. so we went and got a cool turning frame thing. boy...then the fun came. we had THE hardest time printing out the photos. for real. it was crazy. but we made it through. then he, {bffe} and I went up to the mountains to get some fresh air and eat some food with the leaves. the whole time I was watching {bffe} wondering if she was noticing her frantic boyfriend. she later said that she sort of did. but she hadn't a clue. then he dropped her off and he and i was back at the working. he took me to the sight of the first kiss and where the proposal would soon be. Then we went to his house to make the dinner which {sister} taught him to make, which he made for {bffe} for their first date. a whole lot of firsts. Anyways we had direct instructions as to what we were to do to set up. His mom, dad, brother, and i were the crew. finally the time came, after burning some butter and running with our heads cut off, to make the scene for a new life. crazy.
we got there and were beginning to set up when to our dismay a park police came and told us that the park closed at "dusk". i dont even go to the park until AFTER dusk. but he was nice and let us keep doing our thing since it was for a special night. so we thanked him and we went on our way. Finally we finished and waited for him to do his thing. that is really it. the end.
