But my dad had a birthday. He is my favorite dad. In fact....he is my ONLY DAD!! Get out...I know. He is my favorite dad for many reasons. A lot of the time I don't make sure to show him how grateful I am for him, but I am still learning. So, as usual, here is a well thought out list of why he is the best, cliche-y as it is...he really is.
- He is the example I look for in my future spouce.
- He honestly has come down from {home town} to {college life not so much home, home} because I called him bawling that my car had just died at a fairly busy light...remember
- Let's just say he is the ultimate handy man
- He looks like that one guy off of Everybody Loves Raymond
- Sometimes he acts like a teenage boy....One has to let go sometimes.
- He takes his job as the Patriarch of our family seriously uses it with respect.
- He is not ashamed of being weird
- He scares all the boys I bring home
- He knows when to not talk to me when I am grumpy...and also when to talk to me to make me even grumpier. rad.
- He used to be a Rocket Scientist.
- He can joke around and be serious.
- He expects nothing less that great.
- He has taught me to always fill up anyone's vehicle after using it.
- The original artist singing is always best.
- He has given me the love of running
- He has done a great job with teaching us that the family is central to God's plan.
- He told a boy who was bullying me in 8th grade to leave me alone. straight up.
- He is way smart. he used to be a rocket scientist, one would expect such.
- He has fixed my cars many many many times...
- His new thing is finding new mushrooms in the forest... Dark Angel. more like dream angel
- He used to be a Rocket Scientist....for real
- My mom is his equal....if not more than that.
- He likes to bird watch......
- He has given the girls little flowers for Mothers Day
- He is a savant.....musically that is.
